The first ever GATSBY Styling Dance Contest kicked off with the Recruitment Roadshow held at Orchard Cineleisure on the 6-7 Dec 2008 to search for the best student dancers in Singapore.
  The Recruitment Roadshow experienced a huge turnout for both days as participants came down to stake a claim for a place in the Final 8 for the Singapore Finals to be held at ZOUK on the 17 Jan 2009 where 1 team will go on to represent Singapore in the Asia Finals in Japan. A wide variety of dance performances were on show, captivating the audience with their outrageous dance moves.
Special appearances by judges Sheikh Haikel and George Chan also livened up the event, with Haikel himself giving a live performance, performing some of his hit singles in front of an adoring audience.
Our lovely GATSBY ambassadors were also on hand to recruit participants for the contest as well as give out free GATSBY Oil Clear Film samples to the public.
  World renowned hair-stylist Jeric See demonstrated how to create your own unique styles using the GATSBY Moving Rubber range as some lucky participants from the public experienced a free hairstyling session from Jeric himself!
All in all, it was a high-successful prequel to the much anticipated Singapore Finals. One team will be crowned Singapore’s number 1 student dancer on the 17 Jan 2009 at Zouk, and will represent Singapore in the GATSBY Styling Dance Contest Asia Finals in Tokyo, Japan.
